ALL THE LOVE I GOT * MARV JOHNSON * LONDON 9165 * UK

He was born Marvin Earl Johnson, 15th October 1938, Detroit, Michigan, and died May 1993. He has the honor of being the first artist issued on the Motown label with Come To Me. The above, released by United Artists, a pre, or early, Motown (depending on how you view it) written by Gordy, Holland, Bradford, was certainly a foretaste of the modernistic songwriting and arranging talents to come. This song crops up again as the B side to the Marvelettes 1962 Tamla release Playboy. Of the two I prefer the Marveletts version best, but this one isn't three bad too.
