Released in October 1965 on the Soul label # 35016 As Long As There Is L-O-V-E Love was Jimmy Ruffin's second disc on the label, but his first in January 1961 Don't Feel Sorry For Me was also the first on Berry Gordy's short lived Miracle imprint, he had to wait three more years until July 1964 for his next release Since I Lost You on Soul 35002. Written by Smokey Robinson As Long As There Is L-O-V-E Love was to be Jimmy's first release in the UK on the above EP New Faces From Hitsville released in April 1966, five months before his first official single What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted.
