A native New Yorker Bobby Paris started out as a member of the Golden Keys in the late 1950s, his first solo disc was with Indigo in 1960. The above, originally issued on Cameo, was his eighth single and his only one on that imprint. Night Owl was first recorded by Tony Allen & The Champs on Specialty. The above a mid 1970s release is coupled with a Yvonne Baker track and termed a 'double-header' on the label.
