Though Chuck Wood had recorded for the Warner Bros, Era, and Mercury imprints Seven Day's Too Long, his debut for the Roulette label USA, gave him his first recognisable hit. The record was picked up by, the predominantly Folk label, Transatlantic Records in the UK and issued on their new Big T (get it) imprint became popular with Soul fans in Southern England and the emerging Northern scene, in the period between the Mod and Hippy or Skinhead eras. He only had one more release in the UK after this - I've Got My Lovelight Shining (1968) which was his other release on the Roulette label Stateside.
