Tiger was an imprint of Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller, as was Red Bird and Spark. The label ran to six issues and this was Alvin Robinson's only release on it, although he had had a previous release on the Red Bird label. Bessie Banks Go Now was originally released on the Tiger label. Both of Robinson's Red Bird / Tiger releases were issued in the UK.
