WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE * JUNIOR LEWIS * SCEPTER 1268 * USA

Born in 1939 vocalist Clarence "Junior" Lewis began his singing career in Gospel groups though it's not certain yet what actual recordings, if any, he appeared on, his first secular recording came at the age of sixteen when he cut  Lost Everything / Your Heart Must Be Made Of Stone with Sammy Lowe's All Stars, a one-off recording for Bobby Robinson's Red Robin label (#136) in 1955. After which there seems to be nothing on record until 1960 when he was back, this time on Fury, another Bobby Robinson's labels, with Half A Heart as Clarence 'Junior' Lewis, Fury 1032. He cut two more on Fury, then four for Columbia in 1961/2, one for Atco in 1962 before cutting the above Soulful ballad Where Do I Go From Here. Released as the B side to his first of two for Scepter

He only recorded one more record as Junior Lewis, the excellent Nobody's Fault (But Mine) for Pearl Tone #8003 in 1966, before changing his recording name to C L Blast!
