WHO COULD BE LOVIN' YOU * AL WILSON * SOUL CITY 759 * USA
Not to be confused with the British based Soul City label run by record shop owner, music journalist and all round Soul fan Dave Goodin, the US Soul City label was run by singer Johnny Rivers, distributed by Liberty Records and featured, for the most part, the group The 5th Dimension. Written by Willie Hutchinson (aka Willie Hutch) Who Could Be Lovin' You, is a strong Soulful ballad, and was the debut release of Al Wilson, who died a last year (April 2008) aged 68.
