The second of six singles The Kelly Brothers released on Excello (2290), they also released an album Sweet Soul on the label in 1968. Comin' On In is the B side of That's What You Mean To Me was released in the UK in September 1970 three years after its debut in the US.
The group recording for Excello were: Curtis Kelly, Andrew Kelly, Robert Kelly, T. C. Lee and Offie Reese. They had previously recorded for Simms, and before that for Federal as The King Pins. They had three singles and one album released in the UK one on Sue, one on President and the above on Blue Horizon. They are not the same King Pins that had a release on the London label in 1958.
