The Rivingtons, a West Coast group, initially recorded as the Lamplighters in 1953 for King subsidiary Federal records. They were also known as the Tenderfoots, the Four After Fives, the Crenshaws, the Rebels, backing Duane Eddy, and the Sharps who sang on Little Bitty Pretty One by Thurston Harris. Their first record as The Rivingtons was in 1962 with the self penned Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow, the flip side of the above, the line up was Al Frazier, Carl White, John "Sonny" Harris, and Turner Wilson, Jr.
