The British Ember label issued some fine Soul records, but, as they could never compete for scale of distribution with the likes of Stateside or London, they tend to be hard to find.
Do The Walk (The Temptation Walk) was The Checkmates Ltd debut record it was released in the US on Capitol 5603, in April 1966, and in the UK in November the same year on Ember Records.
Jackie Lee (see below) and The Entertainers IV both cut Temptation Walk records, none of which were the same.
