I DON'T WANT NO PART TIME LOVE * THE FALCONS * LONDON 10146 * UK

Released by Decca to cash-in on Wilson Pickett's mid 1960s success, this early Falcons recording for Robert West's Detroit based Lu-Pine label was probably unreleased at the time, though details on the label are still incomplete. The next side Billy The Kid was the plug side for London being a mid paced dance cut, but it's this side that has a more appealing sound for me, the arrangement is very atmospheric with some exemplary Soul singing and a fabulous Flamenco style guitar rising and falling throughout the song. I Don't Want No Part Time Love was also released on the Lu-Pine label (# 126) by Bernie McCain.
