Originally released in the US on Sphere Sound 101, it was picked up by Bell and became the duo's first release on the label # 648. Written by Oldham and Spooner and produced by Papa Don the song had instant appeal to Pop and Soul audiences alike and although it was played in clubs and other musical venues all over the UK at the time, it never made the British charts until its re-release ten years later!
