I SEE IT * THE STAPLE SINGERS * STAX 118 * UK
Unbelievably I See It was not released as a 45 in America, the B side The Ghetto was however the A side of their second US single backed with another track, Got To Be Some Changes Made. These songs by The Staple Singers, historically a regular Gospel group, were a fusion of religious, secular, and conscious lyrics, that seemed to be part of the zeitgeist of the Civil Rights Movement, lead by Dr. Martin Luther King.
