THERE'S SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT MY BABY * THE AUBRY TWINS * ABC PARAMOUNT 10524 * USA
New Orleans born vocal due Tyronne and Jerome Aubert, who really were twins, had started singing professionally at the tender age of eight and while still in their pre-teens the brothers recorded their first record for the Chase label in 1963. After Chase the boys recorded two for Jamie, then moved to ABC Paramount, who had them to record at Muscle Shoals Fame Studios under the direction of producer Felton Jarvis. There's Something Special About My Baby / Hoot Hoot Night Owl was the first of only two for the label; sounding for all the world like a Phil Spector girl group production There's Something Special About My Baby never got the recognition it deserved.
