Great early social consciousness song from this (for me) obscure group on an equally obscure label; is it Jimmy Mc Cracklin's Voice label? The Four Voices could be the authors of the song, and possibly take their name from the four voices which comprise the narration of the novel Native Son by Richard Wright, but I'm pretty sure that they are not the same Four Voices who recorded Lovely One for the Mr. Peacock label. I know they cut at least one other record on Voice Your Love Is Getting Stronger; which was available on both a green and a gold colored label!
