The Five Satins had been recording for six years (although they had started recording as The Scarlets) when they released this their first of two for the New York based Cub label. It was released in June 1960 and although the group, led by Fred Paris, were a bona fide Doo-Wop outfit, this excellent ballad has more than it's share of the new Soul sound in it.
