They came from the Boston area and were originally known as the Tone Weavers, consisting of, in the terminology of the day, two guys and two gals, with Margo Sylvia doing lead vocals. The original issue of this was on the Casa Grande label, with whom the group stayed until the early sixties, Chess (Checker) distributed it nation wide because Casa Grande were to small an outfit.
