OOP SHOOP * SHIRLEY GUNTER AND "THE QUEENS" * FLAIR 1050 * US

This was the groups debut on Joe Bihari's Beverley Hills Flair, it was written by the the girls who were adlibbing at the piano with the then very popular Chords hit record Sh-Boom. Shirley Gunter sings lead with Lula B. Kenney, Lula Mae Suggs and Blondene Taylor - Shirley's brother was Cornel Gunter of The Flairs, who, not surprisingly, also recorded for Flair!

N. B.  The Queens are not the same group as The Teen Queens.
