The very attractive Linda Hayes was the recording name of Bertha Williams, sister of Tony Williams the lead singer of The Platters. Yes I know was an 'answer' record to Willie Mabon's I Don't Know, and is believed to be Linda Hayes second release on the label, although the catalogue numbering on the records would suggest otherwise. She also recorded with The Platters later in 1953 on their first ever recording sessions; until she was replaced by Zola Taylor.
