Cyril Davies was born Denham, England 1932, he began playing music professionally in the early 1950s, he started playing harmonica after pairing up with Alexis Korner a few years later, before long they became Blues Incorporated adding drummer Charlie Watts and bassist Jack Bruce. In 1963 after the break up of Blues Incorporated, Cyril Davies formed his Rhythm and Blues All Stars. Cyril Davies died in 1964 shortly after this record was released.
