Released in the US on Joe Cuoghi's Memphis based Hi label # 2097, where Willie Mitchell worked as producer, house musician and recording artist. That Driving Beat is the B side of Everything Is Gonna Be Alright (another top tune) both sides are in fact vocals (sung by Don Bryant) but as most of Willie Mitchell's out put are instrumentals, and I have also always thought of this aptly titled power-house cut as an instrumental with added vocal interjection, I have placed them on this page.
