TROGLODYTE * THE JIMMY CASTOR BUNCH * RCA 1029 * USA

Jimmy Castor was born June 1943, New York City, and with his group; Jimmy Castor And The Juniors, he recorded, for Wing records, a song that he had written I Promise To Remember, which was covered by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, who scored a big hit with it. Because of the similarity in their sound Jimmy would often stand in for Frankie with the Teenagers. He resurfaced in the mid sixties with a hit recorded Hey Leroy Your Mama's Calling You for Smash.
