One of the early records released in Great Britain using the word Babylon in the title and lyrics, it was originally released on Prince Buster's, Voice Of The People label, in Jamaica. Unfortunately this was Vernon Allen's only issue on the British R&B/Ska Beat label. The other side, Far I Come, leaves no doubt as to where Vernon is coming from.
