Though my copy of the OED does not list the word Copacetic, it is defined in various other dictionary's as meaning satisfactory. The recording is an early J. J. Johnson production, and was well known to all the proto Skinheads at the time, due, in no small part, to its inclusion on the Island LP Club Ska 67; a must have LP for that first wave of Skins.
