The younger brother of the more famous Laurel, Bobby Aitken is a talented singer, musician and was an influential player in the Jamaican musical business, especially during the rock steady period with his band The Carib-Beats. As early as 1961 he cut Really Real with Coxsone Dodd for the Worldisc label; Jerico, or Jericho, is a hard paced Ska cut and was recorded for Vincent 'King' Edwards, Giant imprint JA, and has something of the Mighty Ruler about it.
