Garnet Mimms & the Enchanters released the original version on the B side of One Girl United Artists 715 (can you believe it a song so brilliant as this tucked away on a B side) anyway many others, like the Paragons, have recorded the song since Garnet baby, and they are all good.
This is the Prince's Ska cut with the lovely lolloping base chord, reverberating all the way through. Prince Buster re released this cut two years latter on Blue Beat 393 with its original title Quiet Place.
