LET THEM FRET * SHENLEY DUFFAS * R&B 134 * UK

Born 1938 in Roland Field Chenley, aka, Chandley Duffus was most widely known as Shenley, he cut his first record Over And Over (see below) at Federal in 1958 for Simeon L. Smith, although this wasn't released for three years when, in 1961, he had some popular success with another Smith production Million Dollar Baby a duet he did with Annette (released in the UK on Blue Beat 72). Recorded at Studio One  Let Them Fret is a self penned cautionary song which seems to be about not telling, an unstated party, something, that is also not stated! All very mysterious but it still makes for a good mid tempo Ska vocal.
