Valley Of Tears was written by Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew and first released in 1957 on Imperial # 5442. This recording is a King Edwards production, and one of, as far as I can tell, only three sides released on Rio by the Douglas Brothers. These were: Got You On My Mind Rio 43 B, the above, and Down And Out Rio 63 A; they also had one side on Island # 047, Your Mine.
