LITTLE GIRL OF MINE * THE CLEFTONES * GEE 1011 * USA

In 1955, after auditioning for Apollo, Baton and Old Town, the group, with the help of their friend and manager Dave Rollneck (really!), recorded for George Goldner's Gee label; kicking off the 1000 series with You Baby You. Their follow up the rockin' Little Girl Of Mine was released in March the following year and firmly established the group as a popular Doo-Wop vocal group, selling close on a million copies.
