LOVE BANDIT * THE CADETS * MODERN OLDIES 26 * USA

Hailing from Los Angeles, group came together in 1954 as The Jacks and after signing to the Bihari brothers Modern label in 1955 were renamed, by Joe Bihari, as The Cadets; but the group continued to record both as The Jacks and The Cadets. The groups first record was a Nappy Brown original Don't Be Angry released April 1955 on Modern 956; Love Bandit was the twelfth Modern 45 as by The Cadets, on # 1012. The song was written, and also recorded by Johnny 'Guitar' Watson; the above release is an official reissue from the 1980s.
