The history of The Hollywood Flames is a maze within a labyrinth and has been written up elsewhere far better than I am capable of doing, suffice to say that released on Ebb 163 in June 1959 in the US, Much Too Much was the last of the groups nine releases for the label, and that at the time The Hollywood Flames probably consisted of David Ford, Earl Nelson (lead vocals), Curtis Williams, and Clyde Tillis.
