The electric 21 Days In Jail from Magic Sam (back then Blues singers definitely had the best, most glamorous and dynamic names in the English language) was his last of four singles for the Chicago independent Cobra. On this Rockabilly style recording Magic Sam is backed by Harold Burrage on piano; Mack Thompson, bass guitar; Willie Dixon, bass; and Odie Payne, drums. The above disc is a repro issued some time in the 70s or 80s.
