Albert King recorded Bad Luck Blues for the legendary Chicago label: Parrot, in 1954, but it wasn't until five years later that his second release came out, this time it was on the St Louis based Bobbin label in 1959. He had a total of nine releases on Bobbin, three on King located in Chicago and two on another St Louis imprint: Coun-Tree, before signing, in 1966, with Stax records in Memphis. Born Under A Bad Sign was his second British release.
