DON'T START ME TALKING * SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON * PYE INTERNATIONAL 44029 * UK

Recorded in Chicago with Sonny Boy Williamson on vocals and harmonica; Otis Spann, piano; Muddy Waters and Jimmy Rogers, guitars; Willie Dixon, bass, and Fred Below, drums, and first released on Checker 824; the session produced two tracks the above and All My Love In Vain. Don't Start Me Talking was issued in the UK on the above extended play - along with Just Make Love To Me, Muddy Waters; Walkin' The Boogie, John Lee Hooker and When The Lights Go Out, Jimmy Witherspoon - ten years after its initial release in the States to Blues fans who had very little on the 45 RPM format, in fact Sonny Boy Williamson only ever had five 45s issued in the UK, and even less by way of visual or biographical information on these great artists; Pye records who did more than most in issuing Blues records in the UK persisted in putting the somewhat misleading information 'An Aristocrat recording USA' on lots of their Blues records.
