Despite the naff songs Jesse Belvin had to put up with at RCA this Soulful ballad is a little better than most and so makes the grade. Jesse Belvin released six 45s for RCA in the US, all with The Shorty Rogers' Orchestra, but this was his only record (from any label) that was issued in the UK.
