I AIN'T SUPERSTITIOUS * HOWLIN' WOLF * PYE INTERNATIONAL 25192 * UK

Chester Burnett a. k. a. Howlin' Wolf only had eight singles issued in the UK between the beginning of his recording career in 1951 and his death in 1976, I Ain't Superstitious was the B side of his second. Although he was not a prolific artist, and, apart from his first contract being sold by Sam Phillips of Sun records as an exclusive to both the Bhari brothers and the Chess brothers, he never recorded for the multitude of labels under many pseudonyms like, say, John Lee Hooker - nether-the-less the story was as very different in the US as he had had over thirty records released by the time he recorded the above.
