Recorded in New York City and originally released on Fire 507 in c1961 (it wasn't released until 1968 in the UK) when Buster Brown was fifty years old, but judging by the energy and vitality on this waxing his powers were far from diminished. Sugar Babe was the harmonica playing Blues vocalists last for the label after a short but intense career.
