Antoine "Fats" Domino was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, on the 26th of February 1928, his first record was The Fat Man in 1949, it was an enormous success and established him and his brand of rolling, mellow, piano led R&B for many years. He later broadened his style into a more pop and ballad field, but the above, released as a B side in Great Britain in 1961 (1963 in America) was a throw back to a more bluesy period.
