AL CAPONE * PRINCE BUSTER AND THE ALL STARS * BLUE BEAT 324 * UK
Perhaps his most famous and popular Ska track, it is certainly the most common, and judging by the amounts of this record that could be found second-hand in the early 1980s, the period just before Ska music was re-discovered, it is a fair guess that had it been done by a British pop band it could well have reached the number one spot on the mythical 'charts'. It is of course what would elsewhere be classed as a novelty track, with screeching tires, machine gun fire, and the interjections of "Guns don't argue" and "Don't call me scar-face", but the excellent music and 'scating' make it rise above such classifications and remain just another wonderful slice of solid Ska.
