DUMPLINS * BYRON LEE THE DRAGONNAIRS * BLUE BEAT 2 * UK

This shows the evolution in the early stages of the Blue Beat label. I am guessing that the white label came first partly because of  Buddy Davidson being attributed wrongly as the vocalist on this issue, which was amended while still using the white label design (see below) unfortunately though the amended white label gives the writers credit as 'Bagby' the same as the yellow label, and as it can be safely assumed that the blue label is the final issue, Lee Williams seems to be the correct writer credit. The first white label press is also the only one to give Dumplins the master number B2.B, which was changed to B.2.A on all other issues. All clear now? Of course if anyone can ad to this thumbnail sketch please do.
