Since the turn of the decade there was a band in Jamaica, led by bass guitarist Colsten Cheng, going by the name of The Vagabonds, who toured the UK in May 1964. They had an album of material, produced by Leslie Kong, The Fabulous Vagabonds issued on Island around that time, and from the group that included: Jimmy James, Wallace Wilson, Winston Martin, Ian Phillipson, Carl Griffith, Rupert Balgobin, Jimmy James and The Vagabonds was established. Now weather the Wagabonds (sic) is that same Vagabonds it is hard to say.
