Baba, or, Oswald F. Brooks, was a prolific recording artist up to, during, and after the Ska period, with such class Ska tunes like: Guns Fever, Girls Town Ska, Duck Soup, and One Eyed Giant, credited to him and his Recording Band, while also recording Ska tunes like, Stampede with Don Drummond, for Duke Reid. Most of the brilliant musicians who play on the best Ska tracks like, Tommy McCook or Roland Alphonso, recorded for all the major producers, yet Baba Brooks never had any Coxsone releases.
