Run by Sonny Roberts, Planetone was a small British independent label that issued mostly British Reggae productions. The J K in the above is most probably the initials of the former American president John Kennedy; who was, at the time, seen as something of a savior that would deliver his people to nirvana! Like in the days of big church, were things simpler then, did people have more belief in politics and politicians? When all along, surely, it's the people themselves that actually bring about any changes for their own good. And while governments take credit for small benefits long struggled for and brought about by some section or other of the oppressed, they are at the same time checking this flow elsewhere with a new law or some other foul instrument of restraint and control.
