Owen Grey was born Kingston, July 1939, he was performing publicly while only just in his teens, playing drums, piano, guitar and singing. His first record Please Let Me Go was produced by Chris Blackwell in 1960, and became a No 1 hit. He recorded prolifically in all styles, in the years before Ska, this duet with his brother is a slow Doo Wop.
