Time To Pray is a beautifully sung Gospel inspired track with a easy going laid back and lilting Shuffle beat; it was one of the biggest selling records in Jamaica in 1961 topping the JBC charts for six weeks.
An original Coxsone Dodd, Worldisc, JA release (see below) with music by Cluett Johnson and his Blues Blasters. The Mellolarks or Mellow Larks were the vocalist's Basil Gabbidon and Lloyd Robinson, they, both individually and as group members, worked extensively with Dodd in the formative years of his recording business.
