There were only thirteen issues on the British Success label, all were productions from singer/producer Rupie Edwards. Dobby Dobson had his share of releases on the label with the above and two other recordings, although he had many more on other British labels, Jamaican Success and other Rupie Edwards imprints. Cry A Little Cry has a fast and perky rhythm which is totally at odds with the sadness of the sentiments expressed in the song, while working perfectly well as a recording.
