Jackie Mittoo was at this time chiefly associated with producer Coxsone Dodd at Studio One where he performed many roles, such as: producer, arranger, talent scout, session musician and recording artist, predominately on the electric organ. Edward O'Sullivan Lee a.k.a. 'Striker' or Bunny Lee, was born August 1941. It was Derrick Morgan who introduced him to the music business via Duke Reid in 1962, where he became a record plugger for Reid's Treasure Isle label. After spending time with another of Jamaica's early producers Ken Lack, Lee produced his own record Listen To The Beat by Lloyd Jackson And The Groovers, which was released on Lack's Caltone label in 1967. Latter, Lee hit with Music Field by Roy Shirley on WIRL. After which he started up his own 'Lee's' label, hitting both in Jamaica and Great Britain, with Derrick Morgan's Hold You Jack Slim Smith And The Uniques' My Conversation and  Lester Sterling and Stranger Cole's Bangarang.
