An interesting juxtaposition is formed here with the label imagery and the title of the song, the label name is one of the Palmer brothers Pama imprints, all of which do not follow the usual pattern of directly reflecting that of an American original but are more idiosyncratic and diverse. The Palmer's set up the Pama record company in London, England, in 1967 with the launch of the Pama label, a year later, to reflect the shift in musical style coming from Jamaica, and the growing interest in the music by the white youth, they launched the Nu-Beat, and Unity labels, the first Punch record was issued in 1969. Love Is The Key a Rupie Edwards production, is by Lloyd [Robinson] and Devon [Russel] who had previously recorded as the Tartans, a group he formed in 1966.
