Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, according to most sources the group started singing in 1969, which would mean The Joneses who recorded on Wand 1158 in 1968 are a different group, though this group have had releases on Tersa, V.M.P. and Pride. Child Of Mine is a powerful Soul song in a Disco style that is somewhat at odds with many of the songs advocating a more sexually promiscuous behavior that were around at the time, most notably sung by male singers.
