DISRESPECT CAN WRECK * THE ESCORTS * CONTEMPO 2029 * UK
Reginald Hayes, Laurence Franklin, Robert Arrington, William Dugger, Stephen Carter, Frank Heard, and Marion Murphy formed the group in Rahway State Prison, New Jersey, and George Kerr, who had previously worked with the O'Jays, produced an album All We Need Is Another Chance with them from inside the prison. The album, which contained some old O'Jays material, provided the group with two minor hits, it was a few years later when three of the original group were released that another album 3 Down 4 To Go was cut, again, two singles from it also had some chart success, Disrespect being one.
